Since february this year I’ve been running a free eBook Service. You can take a look at it at Personal Development Books. The purpose of this service is to send out free eBooks to the subscriber list that I have built. The eBooks centers around Personal Development litterature.
These days I’m considering to transfer the free eBook service to this blog. That would mean that I would deliver the eBooks through blog posts insted of sending out emails.
I would really need your help on this one. Please leave a comment to let me know what you would prefer. If I were to transfer the service to this blog it would mean that everyone can get access to the books, without having to subscribe for anything.

I’m happy to receive the books via either channel so do what’s best for you and those of us who appreciate your offering will almost surely adapt as necessary.
Thank you for what you’re doing with the personal development e-books and very best wishes to you whatever you decide.

I think your e-books are something everyone should have access to.
I’ve learnt a lot but more importantly - I’ve remembered things that I should never have forgotten in the first place - and I have no idea when this knowledge started to fade away from me. So I have a lot to thank you for.
Personally, I think you should do what ever is easiest for you to reach the outcome you are aiming for - that is as long as I still have them arrive in my email every week!
Thanks again
Denise

I could be that the email service will fade away and that the books would eventually only be posted on the blog. I will liook into it. Maybe I could create some sort of a mail remainder from the blog when a new book is ready?

I agree with others that you should do what you prefer. Whatever you decide, we are happy to go along, as we all benefit either way.
Yours in gratitude,
Gaielle

I want to thank you first for being such a blessing to humanity!
But how would it work? View the blog (even without reading through) you have acvess to thr e-books?
However it works, though I agree with others that everyone should have access to these wonderful books, a free e-mail subscription should be required. All over the world free resources are made available to those who can belong to the community providing such resources.
More grease to your elbow!

It would work in one of two different ways:
1. It will be your responsibility to check the blog once a week to download the books. I will create a dedicated category for this.
2. I will send out a mail-reminder whenever a new book is available. Then you would have to follow a link to the blog to find the book. That’s actually not that different from how it is now. I guess I would stop having sponsored links in the email if I were to do it this way.

blog…send mail reminders…..create rss feed…

Thank you for what you are doing, What ever is good for you, I can work with that.

As long as I get a reminder I’m cool. I know I would forget to look if the onus was completely on me!

Hi Jarle,
Thanx for the ebooks and for following you inspiration to bring us this idea.
When I read your email regarding this decision, I must confess - I was alarmed! I appreciate knowing the books are coming in - like the tick tock of a clock, the regular emails remind me of the passage of time to keep on working with myself - it is all too easy to get caught in a rut of self-whatever and forget to come out!
As I read the evolution of comments to this post, I agree that availability of these precious resources needs be at the disposition of everyone. It will also help those of us whom accidently delete and email before collecting our book - no confessions here! :o)
All said - please fly with the idea of posting the books in your blog, and also remember scatterbrained busyheads like me who who lose track of time & need the reminder - send the email!
Many thanx and best regards,
MArk

I just got this email from Eva. I got her permission to post it here. So here it is:

Hi Jarle
I’m just back from reading your blog. It’s fantastic.
I have been receiving your free Personal Development Ebooks for about 2
months and while I do want to read and study them I find myself
with a very bad case of Information Overload. So I download the books and
print them out, with every intention of reading them but alas I still have
a pile of unread books. Suppose I should build reading ebooks into my Goal
Setting.
Anyway I would like to keep receiving them from you please. Problem is -
if I have to come to your blog regularly I may forget so for me
receiving an email is much better. But if I’m in the minority let me know
and I’ll visit your blog once a week.
You’re doing a great job. long may you carry on.
Best Wishes
Eva

Hi,
I’m a 36 years old woman, married and with children. I work as accountant, part-time, so I can use the time to take care of the house and kids and it goes pretty good like this. During the never ending spent in my house i like to do something, in particular that is watching soap operas on tv on my ringtones . I also adore to watch classic movies. I don’t evoidsometime to see the wheater forecast either.
I am pretty sadisfied with what I have and overall about my relationship with my kids. I just hope to remain in good health, so just an normal happy life.
‘ll see you
Sandy
